The Voices of Our Mother Overview

Four siblings return to their childhood home to care for their ailing mother (Sheila McCarthy) and decide the fate of the house. What begins as an uneasy reunion quickly becomes emotionally volatile as old resentments resurface and long-buried secrets come back to light. Each sibling carries a different version of their shared past, and their attempts to reconnect only deepen the fractures between them.

As their mother's condition worsens, the house begins to feel increasingly unstable, with disturbing and unexplainable events suggesting a paranormal presence at work. Isolation intensifies their paranoia, and they start to question whether the force haunting the home is real or a manifestation of their guilt and trauma. Forced to confront both their history and the possibility of a supernatural influence, they are pushed toward a breaking point where the truth may be more disturbing than they are prepared to face.
