  This was interesting...if you like Anthropology..which I do. I was curious how the stories intertwine and it was rather elegant. I think it's worth the watch. The caveman timeline, we know we survive, so there was not much concern there. It was more a lesson in birth and fighting to survive to even make it to adulthood and how we, as a species, really only can make it as a group/team and not as individuals. We aren't meant to be alone and life goes one. I thought there could be a bit more humour as it was very sombre to watch.

  I watched the series, and really liked the Mandalorian story. And when i heard a movie was coming out, I was looking forward to seeing it. Heard the reviews were "Meh" to "Juvenile" (seriously, the target age here is family. Right?) and one critic even compared it to a poorly made Muppet movie and could have easily just been another season in the series on Disney+. For me, this movie did not disappoint! Good story line. Expanded Star Wars after the Empire story. Even caught myself laughing at the "juvenile" humor. I was entertained, so I got what I paid for.

  There were minor laughs. One huge gap is Vince Vaughn's character went back in time 6 months but put such an elaborate plan together. Even if he was thinking about that incident for the past 6 months, there's no way he was thinking, "if I could go back in time, I'd hire a movie F/X guy...I'd do all this elaborate stuff to correct that night". Wayyyyyyy too far off. It seemed like some of the conversation was trying hard to be Tarantino-esque ie: the Chlorophorm conversation and the back and forth merging history with the future and piecing together a criminal story (like Reservoir Dogs). It was talk-heavy with a little bit of action here and there. It was just ok. I watched once and will probably not watch again. Wasn't bad, but wasn't good.

  I feel bad for the two leads. They picked a crummy movie. Pretty stupid, overall. This was a cash grab. Shame, though, started out okay.
